Look, I'm not saying MVP ... but I'm not not saying MVP.

Barkley rushed for an Eagles single-game record of 255 yards on Sunday Night Football at SoFi Stadium, with 182 of those yards coming after halftime.

Barkley did the bulk of his damage on two monster touchdown runs in the second half -- first with a 70-yarder to open it up on the first play after halftime, and then later with a 72-yard run to put the game fully out of reach late in the fourth quarter.

The 2024 free-agency acquisition became the first player in NFL history with multiple rushing touchdowns of 70-plus yards in the second half of a single game.

Barkley is just the 13th player in NFL history to top 300 scrimmage yards in a single game, and only the second to do so in a prime-time tilt (joining Rams receiver Flipper Anderson, who accomplished the feat in 1989 against the Saints).

The former first-round pick of the Giants is on pace for 2,151 rushing yards at his current clip -- that is, if he plays the rest of the season. With the way that Philadelphia has been rolling and Washington has been faltering, the Eagles may not have any reason to play Barkley in Week 18 … Oh wait, the Eagles face the Giants in Week 18. That would be a special way to achieve a 2,000-yard season.
