LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - The Detroit Tigers are back in action today after completing spring training a few days ago. The starting lineup for today’s game has been released by the Tigers’ manager, A.J. Hinch.

2. Spencer Torkelson, 1B

3. Riley Greene, LF

4. Mark Canha, DH

5. Matt Vierling, RF

6. Colt Keith 2B

7. Jake Rogers

8. Javier Baez, SS

9. Parker Meadows, CF

The big thing in the lineup is the major league debut of Detroit’s No. 2 prospect, Colt Keith. The starting second baseman for today’s game signed a six-year, $28,642,500 deal with the Tigers during the offseason. Even though Keith didn’t have the most amazing spring, the Tigers are giving the rookie a shot in the big leagues.

The Tigers get their 2024 regular season started at 4:10 p.m. ET against the Chicago White Sox.
