CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Browns fell to 2-2 on the season with a 23-20 loss in Atlanta vs. the Falcons on Sunday.

Atlanta's game winner was Younghoe Koo's 45-yard field goal at 2:28. Jacoby Brissett, the Browns' last chance, was thrown into the trash and threw an interception in back-to-back plays to win the game.

The Cleveland defense was without Jadeveon Crowney and Myles Garrett, which allowed Atlanta to rush for more then 200 yards and score 13 points during the fourth quarter.

First quarter

“Browns opening script is making it look easy as they cruise into Falcons territory,” Pete Smith of Browns Digest tweeted.

“Nice wrinkles offensively from Stefanski to begin @Browns,” former Fox 8 sportscaster John Telich tweeted.

“I absolutely love seeing Harrison Bryant becoming a bigger part of the Cleveland Browns offense this year. Legit target in the passing game,” Brett Sobleski of Bleacher Report tweeted.

“Not sure I understand throwing the football away on 4th down,” Cory Kinnan of The Browns Wire tweeted.

“Look, we’ve learned Kevin Stefanski’s going to go for it. That’s fine. But if you’re going to do that, the play calls on 3rd and 4th down can’t be that bad. What a disastrous ending to what started as such a promising drive,” Fox college basketball announcer John Fanta tweeted.

“Sometimes it’s ok to take the points” former Browns running back Eric Metcalf tweeted, using the shrugging emoji.

“You have to be kidding me,” ESPN Cleveland’s Emmett Golden tweeted after David Njoku fumbled deep in Browns territory.

“big Trap Game energy from the Browns right now,” Jordan Zirm of The Sporting News tweeted.

Fanta: “What a joke of a start. This is also why you take the field goal on your first drive. Instead, 10-0.”

Second quarter

“QB sneak = Automatic for Jacoby Brissett #Browns” the Ultimate Cleveland Sports Show account tweeted after another successful fourth-down sneak by Brissett.

“This team is so good on 1st and 3rd downs. Sound like a broken record, but man,” Kinnan tweeted.

Smith: “This has been an identity drive for the Browns offense. Gotta finish with a TD.”

“Who said Jacoby ain’t mobile?!!! #RideWith7″ former Ohio State safety Tyvis Powell tweeted after Brissett got the Browns on the board with a four-yard touchdown run.

“Best play. Brissett sneak,” Jason Nicholas of WOIO-TV tweeted after another fourth-down conversion from Brissett on a sneak.

Kinnan: “yeah man, throw the TE reverse in the trash.”

Zirm: “just blown away by Jacoby right now. what an absolute DIME to DPJ”

“If Falcons would have used timeouts right they could have had like 50 seconds. Atrocious clock management that saves Browns from double dip Atlanta possessions,” Anthony Lima of 92.3 The Fan tweeted.

Third quarter

“#Browns Feels like it’s only a matter of time before a huge gain on a screen to Chubb/Hunt. It was a great decision to send 13 people deep shots to DPJ. Just a smidge off,” Cody Suek of the Orange and Brown Report tweeted.

Golden: “Browns Twitter: RUN THE BALL!!! Browns run on 3rd & 3 and don’t get the 1st. Browns Twitter: What an awful play call. This is hilarious. Lol”

“Jordan Elliott gets his first solo sack. The #Browns have been SOOO close to taking Marcus Mariota down, Elliott finally makes it happen,” Camryn Justice of WEWS-TV tweeted.

“#Browns defense has picked things up a couple of notches!” WKYC-TV’s Dave DeNatale tweeted.

“At last, the D gets a takeaway!!” Fanta tweeted after Denzel Ward intercepted Marcus Mariota.

“Falcons have done as good of a job as anyone I have seen to tackling Chubb,” Dawgs by Nature tweeted.

Fourth quarter

“#Browns cannot stop the run on this drive, yikes,” Justice tweeted after the Falcons took a 17-13 lead on a 10-play drive that was all runs.

Fanta: “Falcons are prepared to stop the run. I know everybody wants the Browns to run, and who doesn’t, but feels like this is where the receiving corps has to step up and some people have to make some plays.”

Smith: “This game has always been on the Browns offense to win. Time to go out and do it.”

“Needless to say big drive needed now by #Browns” former Browns quarterback Bernie Kosar tweeted.

“Nick Chubb= still really good at football #Browns” ESPN Cleveland’s Matt Fontana tweeted after Chubb gave the Browns a 20-17 lead on a 28-yard touchdown run.

“hello do you some have time to talk about our silent lord and savior Nick Chubb,” Zirm tweeted.

Suek: “I mean this run defense is disgusting right now.”

“Never seen a defender run with the ball carrier 15 yards while trying to tackle him,” Telich tweeted.

“Look, sometimes as coaches, you have to look at the great running backs out there like Chubb and Hunt and.... and... Tyler Allgeier and Caleb Huntley and turn the game over to them,” Mark Schwab of WOIO-TV tweeted.

Smith: “Punting here... I dunno”

DeNatale after a long pass to a wide-open Olamide Zaccheaus: “Another secondary breakdown”

“Mariota throwing shot puts to wide open receivers,” Kinnan tweeted.

“Blown coverage by the #Browns defense. Tell me if you’ve heard that before. #Falcons driving on the Cleveland 33…” Fox 8′s John Sabol tweeted.

“Really nice play by Jacob Phillips,” Tom Withers of the Associated Press tweeted after Phillips’ big third-down tackle with 2:33 to go to force a long field goal attempt.

Justice: “David Bell sighting and it’s a big one #Browns”

Fontana: “We playing for a field goal here or the win? Sure seems like the first one”

“Terrible play calling by Stefanski on that last series. Run the football. #Browns” P.J. Ziegler of Fox 8 tweeted after Jacoby Brissett’s interception with less than a minute to go.

“When the margins are so thin, you cannot have the mental errors they’ve had today. Crippling,” Cleveland Browns Daily’s Beau Bishop tweeted.

Zirm: “some, uh, pretty serious regression from Jacoby Brissett that second half. just cannot take that sack and then cannot force that throw”

“No one to blame but themselves from being 4-0, but here the #Browns sit at 2-2,” Suek tweeted.
