Cleveland Browns studs and duds from Week 10 win over Texans

After a bye week, Cleveland Browns fans were ready to see their team in action in Week 10. Then when the game was nearing kickoff, they were told they had to wait longer.

The weather in Cleveland had gotten out of control as high winds and hail forced the two teams into the locker room for about 30 minutes. Once it was deemed safe, they came back out and got things going — but the weather still impacted the game.

Cleveland won a game that was dominated on the ground by a score of 10-3 on the strength of 231 yards on the ground. Here, we look back over the game and pick out the studs and duds for the 6-3 Cleveland Browns.

Andrew Berry has made some great moves as the general manager of the Cleveland Browns and one of the better ones seems to be the addition of Ronnie Harrison. The former Alabama safety was picked up in a trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars for a mere fifth-round pick. After getting up to speed with the system, he has become a regular starter and had yet another big game for the Browns on Sunday.

Harrison made his presence felt several times in this one as he’s proving to be an ascending player for the Browns. In addition to playing solid coverage, he also continued to show he can come in on the blitz and upset plays. He did this on one second-half drive when he came after Deshaun Watson and showed his smarts by getting his hands in the way of the pass to force an incompletion.

Later, he forced Houston into a third-and-one when he tackled Duke Johnson for no gain during a third-quarter drive. Harrison’s play was undone by the Browns defense as they were unable to stop Watson on the next play despite being in position and clearly knowing what was coming. Harrison finished with six tackles and the pass breakup, continuing to be the best safety on this team.
