Nick Lachey is UC Bearcats' guest picker for ESPN's 'College GameDay'

Nick Lachey was the Cincinnati Bearcats' celebrity guest picker for ESPN's "College GameDay," which visited UC's campus for the first time in advance of Saturday afternoon's American Athletic Conference game against Tulsa.

Lachey picked No. 13 Texas A&M over No. 12 Auburn, adding that "A&M is such a tough place to play."

Earlier this week, ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit's message to Bearcat fans in a video posted via Twitter by @GoBEARCATS ahead of Saturday's "College GameDay" extravaganza was simple: Get to McMicken Commons (adjacent to Tangeman University Center) way earlier than 9 a.m. Saturday, bring your signs and get crazy.

Lachey, who attended Cincinnati's School for Creative and Performing Arts and later Miami University, tweeted the following after UC's win last month at Notre Dame:
