Carrie Underwood Drips in Rhinestones With Minidress on 'Today ...
Carrie Underwood delivered a sparkle moment while performing on the “Today” show on Thursday in New York City. The singer donned a bright green minidress, which was covered in rhinestones creating a fringe effect. The vibrant look was paired with gold and silver jewelry, including tassel earrings.
On the show, Underwood also spoke about supporting veterans, Hoda Kotb’s Halloween costume and the deluxe edition of her album “Denim & Rhinestones.”
“Basically, I just didn’t want it to end. We decided to add some tracks that kind of fit in the family of ‘Denim & Rhinestones.’ It’s just more denim, more rhinestone, more fringe, more sparkles more everything!” she said.
When it comes to her looks, Underwood usually works with stylist Emma Trask, who previously dressed her in a fringe gown for the 2022 American Music Awards in November. The frock, from Tony Ward’s spring 2023 collection, featured pieces of pink, yellow and blue fringe.
On Wednesday, the songstress announced the extension of her Las Vegas residency “Reflection: The Las Vegas Residency,” with the upcoming new dates added in March.
This month, Underwood also kicked off the 2023 “Sunday Night Football” season, by retuning for an 11th consecutive year as the voice of NBC’s official Sunday night football games. Underwood performed a rendition of “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night.”
