The Arizona Cardinals begin their 2024 NFL regular season schedule with an NFL Week 1 game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, Sept. 8.
The Cardinals were 4-13 last season. The Bills went 11-6.

DeeJay Dallas returned a kickoff 96 yards to show just how dynamic the new kickoff rules can be. It was the second return of at least 50 yards in the game.
The kickoff came after the Bills took a 31-20 lead on a Josh Allen scramble. Allen appeared to injure his hand on the play.
After Arizona's touchdown, James Conner ran in for a two-point conversion to cut the deficit to three.

The carry was a part of a drive that saw the Cardinals put the ball in the air just once. In addition to Murray, Greg Dortch and James Conner also had carries.
Conner now has 47 yards on 15 carries. Murray has five carries for 57 yards.
Matt Prater kicked a 31-yard field goal to end the drive, which stalled at the Buffalo 12.

Kyler Murray was sacked for a 5-yard loss and coughed the ball up in the process. Dorian Williams recovered the ball at the Arizona 21 for the Bills.

The Bills received the opening kickoff in the second half. A penalty for the kickoff bouncing short of the landing zone, resulted in a penalty that gave the Bills possession on their own 40.
From there, it took 10 plays for Buffalo to get into the endzone.
Allen is 10-for-11 passing for 134 yards and a touchdown. Hollins has two catches for 25 yards.
The Cardinals led 17-3 late in the first half.

Kyler Murray was 16-for-19 passing for 131 yards and a touchdown and the Arizona Cardinals led the Bills 20-17 at the half.
Bills QB Josh Allen scrambled for a touchdown in the final seconds of the first half to pull the Bills within a score. Buffalo will get the back to start the second half.
Allen is 5-for-5 passing for 76 yards. He has three carries for 20 yards. He has been sacked twice and lost a fumble.
Murray leads the Cardinals with 29 rushing yards on three carries. James Cook leads Buffalo with 49 yards on eight carries.

Cardinals running back James Conner was the workhorse on the team's first drive, but the ball went to Michael Wilson for the touchdown.
Late in the second quarter, the Cardinals were chipping down the field with Trey Benson at running back. The rookie had three carries for 19 yards. But when it came time to punch it into the end zone, it was Conner time.
Conner entered to carry the ball 3 yards for a touchdown. Matt Prater added the point after for a 17-3 lead.

The first pass thrown to Cardinals rookie WR Marvin Harrison Jr. bounced off the receiver's hands.
The Cardinals went right back to Harrison on the next play for a gain of 4 yards.
A touchdown by Bills QB Josh Allen was negated by an offensive face mask penalty. The Bills were forced to settle for a 37-yard field goal.
It was the second disappointing drive for the home team, which fumbled away the first possession.
The Cardinals have outgained the Bills 120-76 and dominated the time of possession.
Allen is 2-for-2 passing for 37 yards. James Cook has 49 yards on eight carries.
