Broncos vs. Bills predictions and live updates: NFL wild-card game ...
Broncos quarterback Bo Nix produced seven games in the regular season in which he threw for at least 200 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions, the most such games by a rookie quarterback in NFL history. The Broncos won six of those games and Nix did enough to win a seventh, but their short, last-second field-goal attempt against the Kansas City Chiefs was blocked.
It is perhaps that loss against the Chiefs — on the road, against a fierce, championship-level defense — that provides the most hope Nix can have a strong day against Buffalo's defense. Nix in that loss to the Chiefs completed 22-of-30 passes for 215 yards, two touchdowns and no turnovers, and he guided what should have been the winning drive by melting off the final six minutes of the fourth quarter.
It isn't always going to look pretty for Nix today. But if he can replicate a stat line like the one he has hit seven other times this season, the Broncos should stay within shouting distance of the heavily favored Bills.
