UPDATE: EPPD searching for suspect involved in deadly East El Paso shooting | KTSM 9 News
EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — UPDATE: Crimes Against Persons detectives with the El Paso Police Department are continuing the investigation into the deadly shooting of an 18-year-old teen that happened early Sunday morning in East El Paso.
Investigators said patrol officers responded to the call and found the victim on the ground in front of a home located at 12529 Wendy Reed. The victim’s mother identified the teen as Kenneth Ellababedi.
The other individual who was shot with non-life threatening injuries was transported to an area hospital.
Police said a party that was announced on social media became overcrowded and grew out of control leading to fights and eventually the gunfire exchange which killed the 18-year-old victim.
Authorities said the crime scene covered three blocks of the area.
The suspect of this shooting is still at large.

PREVIOUS: One man is dead and another injured from an early Sunday morning shooting that happened in East El Paso.
According to the El Paso Police Department, it happened around 2:30 a.m. on the 12000 block of Wendy Reed Drive.
Investigators said one man was pronounced dead at the scene and another man drove himself to a local hospital with injuries.
