Blake Bortles retires

Quarterback Blake Bortles has resigned, as announced on an episode the Pardon My Take podcast.
Bortles was the No. Bortles was the No. 3 overall pick in the 2014 draft. He played 73 games for the Jaguars. He was Jacksonville's signal-caller when the club went 10-6 and reached the AFC Championship Game.
Bortles was released by the Jaguars after he had compiled a 3-9 record as a starter for the following season.
In his five seasons with Jacksonville, he threw for 17,646 yard with 103 touchdowns. He also had 75 interceptions. He’s second on the franchise list in yards, touchdowns, and interceptions to Mark Brunell.
Bortles, 30 years old, also spent time with the Broncos and Packers, as well as the Saints, after his stint with Jacksonville.
