Tennessee Titans vs Buffalo Bills score today: Live updates, stats ...

The Buffalo Bills have scored 24 unanswered points to take control in Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans in the fourth quarter at Highmark Stadium.

Buffalo has scored 17 points in three second-half drives, helped by a failed fourth down try by the Titans offense early in the third quarter.

Mason Rudolph has not been good in the second half after an efficient first half, though he is not getting much help from the offensive line, running game or playcalling.

Tennessee (1-4) is in danger of its first 1-5 start since 2015. Follow the Tennessean's live Titans game updates below:

Josh Allen finds Ty Johnson for a 4-yard touchdown pass to extend Buffalo's lead. PAT good.

The Bills have scored 24 unanswered points and 17 points on three drives in the second half. Ugly, ugly football from the Titans.

After a lengthy review, Dalton Kincaid's 25-yard catch to set up 1st and goal stands. (Titans keep the timeout after the challenge due to the change from down-by-contact to a fumble out of bounds for Kincaid when he landed on the ground, but it does not materially change the situation.)

Buffalo will have 2nd and goal from inside the Titans' 5-yard line when the fourth quarter begins. Tennessee's defense needs to make a big play and soon.

Buffalo adds three more points on a Tyler Bass 28-yard field goal. Key plays on the drive included an Amari Cooper 19-yard catch against Jarvis Brownlee and a Jeffery Simmons offside penalty on 3rd and 1 after it appeared Josh Allen was short on a sneak.

Still, it was key for the Titans defense to hold the Bills to a field goal. Still a one-score game.

Kenneth Murray stays down after a Ray Davis catch, and he gets up after being looked at by Titans personnel.

Moments later, Murray went into the Titans locker room after spending time in the injury tent. He's walking under his own power.

UPDATE: The Titans say Murray is questionable to return with a shoulder injury.

Gregory Rousseau has been wearing out Nicholas Petit-Frere all game, and he finally gets to Mason Rudolph for a sack. It all but halts the Titans drive at midfield after a DPI drawn by Calvin Ridley earlier in the possession.

Tennessee punts the ball away, and it feels like the Titans defense must get a stop here. Even with Rudolph's efficiency, this has not been an explosive offense. The Titans aren't currently capable of erasing double-digit deficits.

Josh Allen and the Bills offense quickly takes advantage of the good field position. Allen finds Keon Coleman and Dalton Kincaid for first-down gains, then finds an open Amari Cooper in the back of the end zone for a 12-yard touchdown pass. PAT good.

Just like that, Tennessee is behind. Rough start to the third quarter.

After a Mason Rudolph second-down scramble for 9 yards, Tony Pollard loses a yard on 3rd and 1 near the Titans' 44-yard line. Tennessee's offense stays on the field on 4th and 2, and Tony Pollard again loses a yard on a run that had no chance.

Not only was the decision by Brian Callahan ill-advised, but the playcalling left a lot to be desired. Titans defense is going to be asked to hold again.

Very good half for the Titans, but the lead is only 10-7. Tennessee will receive the second-half kickoff.

Mason Rudolph is sacked by Buffalo's AJ Epenesa via Rudolph's blindside, and the ball is loose. After a couple bounces, Lloyd Cushenberry recovers. It's a 20-yard loss, but a key recovery given that the Titans are deep in their own territory.

Tennessee's defense holds, helped by Arden Key's first sack of the season. The Bills punt the ball away. Titans defense has been stingy in the first half.

The good news: Tony Pollard passed the concussion check and returned to the game.

The bad news: A mishandled snap between Mason Rudolph and Lloyd Cushenberry results in a fumble and Bills recovery in Tennessee territory. Buffalo's Terrel Bernard makes the recovery.

Josh Allen finds Keon Coleman wide open over the middle for a 44-yard catch and run, and James Cook scores on the next play via a 11-yard touchdown run. PAT good.

Buffalo goes 61 yards in three plays for the touchdown. Game on.

On 3rd and goal, Mason Rudolph has time and room to scramble, and he eventually finds Nick Westbrook-Ikhine for a 3-yard touchdown pass. PAT good.

This is all about the Titans offensive line owning the line of scrimmage. Rudolph has not been sacked, and the Titans have 49 rushing yards on nine carries.

Tony Pollard walks off and goes to the injury tent after being hit in the head by Buffalo CB Taron Johnson, which produces a flag on third down to extend the drive. Julius Chestnut is the only other active Titans running back available. Titans are driving after the personal foul penalty by Johnson, now 1st and goal.

The Titans defense has come to play, shutting down the Bills for three 3-and-outs in three possessions. Josh Allen is 1-of-5 for 5 yards.

For Buffalo, WR Curtis Samuel is questionable to return with a shoulder injury.

Titans drive 61 yards in 13 plays to open the scoring with a Nick Folk 25-yard field goal. Mason Rudolph has been steady, completing passes to Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Tyler Boyd on third down to move the chains on the drive. But his 3rd and 12 pass to Boyd was short of the line to gain, leading to the Folk FG.

Tennessee's offense looks steadier with Rudolph at QB, but not necessarily more explosive. No targets yet for DeAndre Hopkins.

Nicholas Petit-Frere is in on the Titans' second offensive drive for Jaelyn Duncan, who is questionable to return with a hamstring injury. Tennessee's right tackle conundrum continues.

Mason Rudolph opens with a couple of easy throws to tight ends, including one to Josh Whyle for a first down. But Rudolph's third down pass for Calvin Ridley is incomplete.

Jaelyn Duncan is working at right tackle during pregame warmups with the rest of the starting offensive line, so it appears he'll start today.

Titans beat reporter Nick Suss' prediction: Buffalo Bills 20, Tennessee Titans 13

Until the Titans' offense proves it's a threat, it's hard to think the results are going to look any different. The Bills are really good at home. Allen is a different caliber of quarterback than the Titans have dealt with all year. And it's just hard to foresee this team traveling to Buffalo and pulling off the upset when the Bills have played pretty well in close games and the Titans simply haven't.
