A bunch of 'Hocus Pocus’: Freeform 31 Nights of Halloween schedule 2020

Get your jack-o'-lantern, sit back and chug some PSL, because Freeform’s 31 Nights of Halloween is back to take you down memory lane.

The annual month-long movie fest, stuffed with classic family-friendly films that pay homage to the macabre, starts Thursday, Oct. 1.

The 1993 Halloween staple “Hocus Pocus" is a fixture of the fall movie extravaganza and will air on the first night of Freeform’s lineup.

This year, Bette Midler, one of the stars of the film, will be live-tweeting the movie starting at 9 p.m. ET Oct. 1 to generate awareness for the New York Restoration Project, which works to preserve gardens and open spaces in the city. Midler is also teaming up with her co-stars, Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker, for a virtual “Hocus Pocus” reunion Oct. 30. She says she’ll be involved in an upcoming “Hocus Pocus” sequel for Disney Plus.

Other movies in the Halloween mix at Freeform include the original “Ghostbusters” from 1984, along with the sequel and 2016 reboot; the 1995 film “Casper" with Christina Ricci and Bill Pullman; the 1988 Tim Burton classic “Beetlejuice,” among other Burton films; the 1991 rendition of “The Addams Family" and its 1993 sequel, “Addams Family Values”; “Scream” (1996) and “Scream” 2 (1997); “The Craft" (1996) and “The Goonies" (1985).

There will also be some marathons of “Treehouse of Horror” episodes from “The Simpsons" on the schedule.
