Featured tee time for Round 2
With Jon Rahm’s departure to LIV before this season, there’s little question who the star of the PGA Tour is, and that’s World No. 2 Rory McIlroy, if he didn’t already hold that title before.
It was true at last week’s Cognizant Classic. And despite the presence of so many stars in the field this week — including Scottie Scheffler, Max Homa, Viktor Hovland and Xander Schauffele — Rory is still the featured player.
For Friday’s second round, McIlroy will switch to a morning starting time, teeing off at 10:10 a.m. ET with Collin Morikawa.
You can watch Friday’s second round of the 2024 Arnold Palmer Invitational on ESPN+ with exclusive early coverage and featured group coverage beginning at 7:30 a.m. ET, and then on Golf Channel starting at 2 p.m. ET. Peacock will offer a simulcast of Golf Channel’s coverage.
