Ariana Grande Posted the Cutest Throwback Photo for Her 30th ...

It's Cancer season, baby, and Ariana Grande is 30. On Monday, June 26, the pop star commemorated her milestone birthday with an adorable/on-theme throwback photo on her Instagram grid along with a sweet note to her younger self.

In the photo,  a pint-sized grande wears a blue and white checkered overall dress over a white blouse with puffy sleeves. Sound familiar? She's dressed as Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz . In the film adaptation of the hit musical Wicked, which exists in the wonderful land of Oz universe, Grande plays a young Glinda the Good Witch, whom Dorothy later meets amid her adventures. Now that's a birthday and self-promo queen! 

“hbd, tiny !i trust you implicitly & have never been prouder of you 30 ????,” Grande wrote in the post's caption. 

Grande's Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo, who plays Elphaba, commented on the post, “Happy birthday babylove, it is a joy to be in your life at this moment in time. May the light you experience from the growth you have allowed yourself keep growing and glowing!! I love you, here’s to many more years my love ❤️.”

The Wicked film will be released in two parts. Wicked: Part One is scheduled to hit theaters on November 27, 2024, while Wicked: Part Two is scheduled to be released on November 26, 2025. Alongside Ariana Grande and Erivo, the Wicked films will star Jonathan Bailey, Jeff Goldblum, Ethan Slater, Michelle Yeoh, and Bowen Yang. Both films will be directed by Jon M. Chu with a screenplay by Winnie Holzman and Stephen Schwartz.
