Zach Bryan confirms split from 'really blindsided' Brianna Chickenfry ...
Zach Bryan and his girlfriend, Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia, have split.
The country music star, 28, confirmed the breakup Tuesday with a message on his Instagram Stories.
“Addressing something: Brianna and me have broken up with each other and I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart,” Bryan wrote.
“She has loved me unconditionally for a very long time and for that I’ll always thank her,” he added.
“I’ve had an incredibly hard year personally and struggled through some pretty severe things. I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go out different ways. I am not perfect and never will be,” Bryan went on before asking fans to respect Chickenfry’s “privacy and space.”

“And if you have it in your heart, mine too,” he said. “With everything I am and to anyone I let down, I am sorry. I try my best in everything. I failed people that love me and mostly myself.”
Chickenfry, 25, said in her own statement that she’s “blindsided” by the breakup.
“Hey guys I’m feeling really blindsided right now. Gonna hop off social media for a while and attempt to heal privately, when I’m ready I’ll be back and ready to talk,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories.
“I love you guys so much thank you for all of your kind words. Remember you are so loved and everything’s always gonna be OK,” the social media star added.
Rumors of Bryan and Chickenfry’s breakup began Monday after fans posted screenshots online of what they claimed to be Bryan’s Raya account.
Chickenfry also shared several cryptic messages on her IG Stories before the breakup was confirmed.
One of her posts read, “Eventually you’ll find that life goes on / Even if you don’t want it to.”
The former couple met at the 2023 Academy of Country Music Awards when Chickenfry asked Bryan for a photo together. Bryan had just split from girlfriend Deb Peifer at the time. He was previously married to Rose Madden from 2020 to 2021.
Chickenfry confirmed her and Bryan’s relationship on her “PanBri Uncut” podcast last July. They made their red carpet debut at the 2024 Grammy Awards in February.
In May, the pair almost died in a car crash while they were on the road for Bryan’s “Quittin Time” tour.
“There was a lot of blood, and we thought we were saying goodbye to each other,” Chickenfry said in a TikTok about the accident.
After the incident, Bryan took to social media to share a heartfelt message to Chickenfry.
He wrote, “This lady holds the weight up of everyone around her day in and day out. Through these month long tour runs, to my degenerate ass making an album. You’re my muse Brianna and I don’t understand how the hell you hold it together when people around you can’t. Thank you forever and always no matter what.”
