The Canadian rapper was found guilty of shooting Megan Thee Stallion in her foot after a party in Hollywood in 2020.
A Los Angeles Court convicted Lanez of assault and weapon charges. The prosecution requested the court to award 13-year imprisonment to the rapper and send him back to Canada. But the defense lawyer urged to delay the sentencing. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge David Harriford accepted the request.
