In under 30 minutes, star quarterback Quinn Ewers and No. 3 Texas football will kickoff the action at the Big House in Ann Arbor on Sep. 7 against the No. 10 Michigan Wolverines. Texas has a big task in front of them to try and end the defending National Champions 23-game home winning streak this weekend.

Most in the media are picking the Longhorns, though, to come out on top in a tough road environment at Michigan in Week 2.

This will be Texas's first ranked road matchup in non-conference play since Ewers and the Longhorns went to Tuscaloosa and upset the No. 3 Alabama Crimson Tide by double digits at Bryant-Denny Stadium last season.

The battle between Texas and Michigan at the Big House today is not only the first top-10 contest showdown for the Longhorns in over a decade, but it is also the biggest of the non-conference slate for them this fall.

Here's a look at the final betting odds and game prediction as No. 3 Texas faces No. 10 Michigan on the road at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor on Sep. 7 at 11 a.m. CT.

Texas is a 6.5-point favorite against Michigan just before kickoff in Week 2. And the Longhorns are favored in the money line (-255) over the Wolverines (+205), per FanDuel. The over/under is 42.5 points.

The betting line has moved 0.5 points in Michigan's favor since it was listed at Texas by a touchdown earlier this week. The over/under has also moved down one point down to 42.5.

According to the ESPN Football Power Index, Texas has a 73.8 percent chance to win this game and Michigan has a 26.2 chance of winning.

If Ewers and the Longhorns come out of the gates and set the tone on offense against a stout Michigan defense, that can put the Wolverines off schedule and take control in the first half. Michigan's offense lost a lot of key pieces from last season's title-winning squad.

The Michigan offense struggled to establish a tempo and rhythm, especially in the passing game, after the loss of starting quarterback JJ McCarthy to the NFL Draft this past spring.

Texas's offense holding the slight edge over the Michigan defense with all its speed and weapons on the outside, combined with its big advantage on paper on defense over the Wolverines offense gets them over the hump in Ann Arbor.

Final score prediction: Texas-27, Michigan-20
