Rapid Reaction: Seahawks Struggle Against The Run In Loss To ...
4. The Steelers rushing attack was a problem.
While the Seahawks did well in the past couple of weeks to take away explosive plays, they have still been allowing more yards on the ground than they would have liked. And on Sunday the Steelers came to Seattle looking to run the ball, and found plenty of success with Najee Harris leading the way. Harris, a bruising 242-pound back, ran for 122 and two touchdowns on 27 carries, while Jaylen Warren added 75 more on 13 carries, including an 18-yard touchdown for the game's first score.
Making matters worse for the Seahawks defense, the Steelers were also able to hit several big plays through the air, including completions of 42, 37, 25 and 24 yards, a change after the Seahawks went two straight games without giving up a completion of 20 or more yards.
