Michigan State basketball has taken care of business once again, and has ended a five game losing streak against Purdue with a big time 75-66 win over the Boilermakers. The win improves MSU to 21-5 overall and 12-3 in the Big Ten on the season.

In the win, the Spartans shot the ball at an astonishing 58.3% clip, playing very efficiently on the offensive end, while only turning it over six times.

The two transfers for MSU made their impact felt tonight, in one of the biggest wins of the year, with Frankie Fidler going for 11 points, while Szymon Zapala had 9 points and 4 rebounds and played outstanding defense on Trey Kauffman-Renn.

Three other Spartans finished in double figures with Jase Richardson having 12 points, and both Jaden Akins and Coen Carr scoring 10 points a piece.

Michigan State will have a massive game this Friday when they travel to Ann Arbor to play for first place in the Big Ten against Michigan.
