Eagles' trade for Goodwin has fans hilariously torn

Eagles trade for Goodwin has fans hilariously torn
The Eagles added Marquise Goodwin in a buy-low move on Saturday, and while some fans liked the trade, others weren't sold. By Adam Hermann

The 2020 NFL draft is over and the Eagles ended up taking a total of 10 players after drafting just five in each of the last two years.

Here’s their complete draft haul:

1-21: Jalen Reagor, WR, TCU 2-53: Jalen Hurts, QB, Oklahoma 3-103: Davion Taylor, LB, Colorado 4-127: K’Von Wallace, S, Clemson 4-145: Jack Driscoll, OT, Auburn5-168: John Hightower, WR, Boise State 6-196: Shaun Bradley, LB, Temple 6-200: Quez Watkins, WR, Southern Miss6-210: Prince Tega Wanogho, OT, Auburn 7-233: Casey Toohill, DE, Stanford

But now it’s time for the Eagles to jump into the undrafted rookie phase of the draft. This is where all the players who went undrafted start signing with teams. The Eagles have found some real contributors this way in recent seasons.

Here’s a tracker of their signings:

Michael Warren II, RB, Cincinnati

Warren (5-9, 226) could end up being a really nice compliment for Miles Sanders. Warren is a stout and powerful runner. He had 559 carries for the Bearcats in three years and piled up 2,918 yards and 51 touchdowns. He’s the type of tough inside runner the Eagles could use.

Adrian Killins, RB, Central Florida

Killins is a 5-foot-7, 162 pound running back who didn’t get a combine invite. In four seasons at UCF, Killins piled up 2,459 yards on 406 carries (6.1) and scored 25 touchdowns. He also caught 70 passes for 864 yards and 8 more scores.

Noah Togiai, TE, Oregon State

The Eagles are adding the 6-4, 244-pound tight end. In 2019, Togiai caught 44 passes for 406 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Luke Juriga, C, Western Michigan

The 6-3, 301 pound center played guard and center at Western Michigan, making him the type of versatile OL the Eagles seem to like. He started 52 games total in college; 38 at right guard and 14 at center.

Michael Jacquet III, CB, Louisiana

The 6-2, 201-pound cornerback began his career as a receiver but flipped to defensive back as a junior in 2018. In 2018 and 2019, he played in 27 games and had four interceptions, 94 tackles and 14 pass-breakups.

Dante Olson, LB, Montana

Olson (602, 237) was a two-year starter at Montana. He had 151 tackles in 2018 and 179 tackles in 2019. He also forced five fumbles over the last two years.

Julian Good-Jones, OL, Iowa State

The 6-3, 313-pound lineman was first-team All-Big 12 in 2019 as a starter at left tackle. He is a former center, which means he’s versatile and the Eagles like that.

Raequan Williams, DT, Michigan State

Williams (6-4, 308) was a three-year starter for the Spartans and ran a 5.04 at the combine. He had 160 career tackles and 11 1/2 sacks.

Grayland Arnold, S, Baylor

Arnold (5-10, 190) finished 2019 with six interceptions and was second-team All-Big 12.

Mennessah Bailey, WR, Morgan State

Bailey (6-1, 195) started his career at Morgan State as a linebacker but converted to receiver. He had the school's second-most yards in a single season (996) and was a third-team All-MEAC selection.

Elijah Riley, DB, Army

The 6-0, 205-pound defensive back did it all for Army in 2019. He recorded 79 tackles, a team-best 8.5 tackles for loss, broke up six passes and had three interceptions. Riley started his final 32 games for the Black Knights and was voted a captain his senior season.

Prince Smith Jr., CB, New Hampshire

Smith is a local product who graduated from Imhotep Charter High in 2016. The 5-10, 185-pound conerback won the CAA Rookie of the Year in 2016. He finished with 64 tackles, three interceptions and forced two fumbles his senior season.
