The Story of Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox's Whirlwind ...
Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly reportedly split just weeks after revealing she is pregnant with their first child together; here's everything you need to know about their whirlwind romance.
While the break up hasn't been confirmed publicly by either celebrity, major outlets such as the Daily Mail, Us Weekly, TMZ and People claimed they have, all citing anonymous sources.
Newsweek, which has not yet been able to verify these reports, emailed spokespeople for Fox and Kelly for comment on Wednesday.
Here is everything you need to know about the couple's turbulent romance.
When Did Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly Break Up?
According to TMZ, the couple—who have been in an on-and-off relationship since 2020—spent Thanksgiving weekend in Vail, Colorado. Per the outlet, the Jennifer's Body star, 38, "found material on MGK's phone that was upsetting," which sparked the 34-year-old rapper to leave the trip solo. The pair split and have reportedly not seen each other since.
Fox ended the relationship after she suspected he had been texting other women. They also claim this took place around Thanksgiving weekend, per an anonymous source who spoke to Daily Mail.
"Megan was just done with all of it. She was done with his behavior and the way that he treated her," an alleged insider told the publication.
"When she fell pregnant, he thought it meant that she would stay with him no matter what—and it is not the case. The most important thing in Megan's world right now is her unborn baby and she has no problem raising the child on her own."
"They broke up in late November," a source told Us Weekly on Tuesday. "They were trying to make it work again after the pregnancy, but they are both too hot-headed and fell back into their constant fighting. They can't get on the same page, and it's not easy for them being together."
Still, the insider noted that Fox and Kelly (real name Colson Baker) "could very well be back together" one day, as the pair have had a history of breakups and make-ups.
A source who spoke to People mirrored these claims, saying: "Their relationship has always been bumpy. They love each other but don't have compatible personalities. They're both hot-heads, dramatic and stubborn. When they're good together, they're great."
They added: "They will very likely get back together. They've split in the past and then worked things out."
Megan Fox Pregnancy Announcement
Fox, who in 2023 spoke openly about suffering a miscarriage, took to Instagram on November 11 to announce the news that she was pregnant. She uploaded two photos in the post, with the first image showing the actor covered in black paint, cradling a baby bump. The second shot was of a First Response pregnancy test that was positive. Fox tagged Kelly in the post, confirming that he is the father of the baby.
Megan Fox Miscarriage
When Fox shared her pregnancy announcement on Instagram, she appeared to reference the fact that she had previously experienced a miscarriage, writing in the caption: "Nothing is ever really lost. welcome back."
In her 2023 poetry collection, Pretty Boys Are Poisonous: Poems: A Collection Of F***** Up Fairy Tales, the actor talked candidly about the miscarriage when she wrote about an ultrasound of a baby girl at 10 weeks.
"I want to hold your hand / hear your laugh, but now / I have to say / goodbye," she wrote, before later adding: "I close my eyes and imagine holding you tight against my chest as they rip you from my insides."
In November 2023, Fox talked about going through the experience with Kelly while promoting the book on Good Morning America.
"I've never been through anything like that in my life. I have three kids so it was very difficult for both of us and it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately...trying to navigate, 'What does this mean?' and 'Why did this happen?'" she said.
That same month, the Transformers star spoke about the miscarriage during a conversation with Women's Wear Daily, revealing she had experienced an ectopic pregnancy (a pregnancy that occurs outside of the uterus. It is a life-threatening condition) years earlier.
"That experience was so much harder than I would've anticipated it being, and I've really analyzed 'Why was that? Why was that so difficult for me?' Because when I was younger, I had an ectopic pregnancy, I've had other things that I'm not going to say because God forbid the world will be in an uproar," she said.
"But I've been through other similar issues, but not with someone who I was so in love with."
Did MGK and Megan Fox Get Married?
No, the couple aren't married, but they did get engaged in June 2020. On January 10, 2020, the actor and the singer announced their plan to marry, with both posting details of their lavish engagement on Instagram after a year and a half of dating.
The couple shared a video of Kelly getting down on one knee "beneath the same branches we fell in love under" and the sparkling Stephen Webster emerald and diamond ring.
"In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree," Fox wrote in her Instagram caption. "We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma."
She continued: "Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him. And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes. ...and then we drank each other's blood. 1.11.22."

While TMZ reported that Fox "found material on MGK's phone that was upsetting," cheating in the relationship hasn't been confirmed by either party.
On February 19, 2023, Fox took to Instagram to deny cheating rumors that were circulating at the time. She wrote: "There has been no third party interference in this relationship of any kind. That includes, but is not limited to...actual humans, DMs, AI bots or succubus demons. While I do hate to rob you of running random baseless news stories that would have been much more accurately written by ChatGPT, you need to let this story die and leave all of these innocent people alone now."
Fans speculated that Kelly cheated on the actor with Sophie Lloyd, a musician who plays guitar in Kelly's touring band. However, Lloyd's management team quickly released a statement dispelling those reports.
"Sophie Lloyd is a professional, accomplished musician who has been needlessly dragged into the media based off of meritless accusations made by social media," read a statement on February 15 of that year, according to People.
"Any suggestion that she has ever acted in an unprofessional manner or stepped out of her relationship are untrue. It's disrespectful to her as a female artist and poor journalism and social commentary to be reporting anything else."

"I was like, 'Who is going to play this role?' And he was like, 'Oh, we just got Machine Gun Kelly,' and immediately, I was like, 'Uh oh,'" Fox said. "Because I knew, I could feel that some wild s*** was going to happen to me from that meeting, but I wasn't yet sure what. I just felt it like, deep in my soul—that something was going to come from that."

"Any accusations beyond a work friendship are simply untrue. They filmed a movie together a year ago. Michele is currently in Italy filming another project," Morrone's representative told TMZ after a clip was shared online of Fox and Morrone on set together. According to the publication, the footage was filmed a year ago.
