Vanderbilt football vs Kentucky: Final score as Diego Pavia leads ...
LEXINGTON, Ky. — Vanderbilt football won its second straight SEC game, defeating Kentucky, 20-13, at Kroger Field on Saturday night.
The Commodores (4-2, 2-1 SEC) got their second road win of the Clark Lea era. The first road win also came over Kentucky, in 2022.
Quarterback Diego Pavia has been busy on the talk show circuit and was named the Maxwell Award Player of the Week. Pavia threw for 143 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 53 yards.
Pavia appeared to suffer a knee injury late in the third quarter, but he came back in the game with a brace on his right knee.
The Wildcats are coming off an open week and before that, defeated Ole Miss. Kentucky has yet to score more than 20 points in any of its SEC games.
