Hamas militant group leaders called for Friday to be a worldwide “Day of Rage.”

(WFSB) - Hamas militant group leaders called for Friday to be a worldwide “Day of Rage.”

Several police departments, including some in Connecticut, wanted to clarify that there was no credible threat to public safety.

Departments in Fairfield, Norwalk, and Newtown released statements to report that.

However, they said people may notice heightened police presences at schools and places of worship on Friday, just as a precaution.
