What we know:
Beyoncé was originally set to announce the tour in mid-January, a couple of weeks after her hit Christmas Day halftime performance, known to fans as the Beyoncé Bowl. She postponed the announcement because of the deadly wildfires in Southern California.
What we don't know:
No other details about the tour have been released. It’s still unclear when the tour will start and end and how many cities she’ll visit.
Beyoncé Grammy nominations
The tour announcement came Saturday, a day before the 67th Grammy Awards will take place in Los Angeles. As Los Angeles continues to recover from fires that destroyed more than 14,000 structures and displaced tens of thousands, the Recording Academy has reformatted its award show to benefit to help wildfire victims.
By the numbers:
Beyoncé leads the Grammy nods with 11, bringing her career total to 99 nominations. That makes her the most nominated artist in Grammy history.
Since 2023 she's also been the most decorated artist, having earned 32 trophies across her career.
Is it finally her time to take home the top prize? If she wins the album of the year, she’ll become the first Black woman to do so in the 21st century.
