Britney Spears' ex-husband Jason Alexander attempts to crash singer's wedding

Britney Spears’ ex-husband Jason Alexander attempted to crash the pop superstar’s wedding to Sam Asghari at her home in Thousand Oaks, Calif., on Thursday.

Alexander, 40, was restrained outside by event security before police officers showed up, according to TMZ.

Alexander documented his break-in live on Instagram, making it to the second story of Spears’ home and even inside her wedding tent.

In the footage, he spoke with event security, telling them that Spears had invited him to the wedding. After some resistance, Alexander threatened to crash her big day. A physical struggle ensued before his phone froze and cut out.

Page Six can confirm that the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department responded to a trespassing call at Spears’ house.

“Jason Alexander has been handcuffed, taken into custody and arrested. I express my thanks to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department for their prompt response and good work,” Spears’ attorney, Mathew Rosengart, tells Page Six exclusively.

“I’m working closely with law enforcement to ensure Mr. Alexander is aggressively prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,” the former federal prosecutor adds.

Though Alexander expressed public support for Spears throughout her controversial conservatorship battle — and notably attended several #FreeBritney rallies — he has an alarming history of lurking outside homes of the singer’s family.

Spears’ relatives were “disturbed” after learning that Alexander visited their homes unannounced in January, a source exclusively told Page Six at the time.

“They think it’s incredibly inappropriate and downright weird,” the source told us.

“It’s bad enough that the family has to deal with fans getting too close for comfort, but they’d like to think they can expect more from Jason, who claims to still have so much love and respect for Britney,” the source added.

Alexander showed up to Britney’s mother Lynne Spears’ Serenity estate in Kentwood, La., and posted two videos and a photo of the exterior to his private Instagram account.

“Daddy Spears hiding behind gates @britneyspears,” he captioned one post, referencing Britney’s estranged father and former conservator, Jamie Spears, who has been divorced from Lynne, 66, since 2002 and now lives in a motor home close to Serenity.

At the time, Alexander revealed plans to visit Britney’s childhood home, which Jamie, 69, sold for $275,000 in February 2021, as well as the camper that Britney’s uncle Willie Spears lives in. It remains unclear if he ever did.

Alexander has previously been arrested for violating an order of protection and stalking an unidentified woman in December 2021. He pleaded guilty to the charges on Jan. 4 and was ordered to serve nearly a year of probation.

It marked Alexander’s third arrest in 13 months. He had been taken into police custody for driving under the influence in January 2021 and breaking security protocols at an airport in August.

Alexander, a childhood friend of Britney’s, was married to the Grammy winner for a mere 55 hours in 2004. By October of that year, she wed now-ex-husband Kevin Federline, with whom she shares sons Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15.

Federline’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, told Page Six that Britney’s children were not attending her wedding to Asghari, though they wish their mom the best.

“They think the focus of this day should be on Britney and Sam, and they are very happy for her moving forward,” Kaplan said.

Page Six confirmed on Thursday that Britney, 40, and Asghari, 28, are tying the knot in a small ceremony in front of 50 family members and friends.

The couple met on the 2016 set of Britney’s “Slumber Party” music video. They got engaged in September 2021 after five years of dating.

Following Britney’s long-awaited conservatorship termination, the duo announced in April that they were expecting their first baby together.

However, Britney sadly suffered a miscarriage last month.

“One beautiful thing that I heard was when the baby’s ready, it’ll come,” Asghari told GQ in May of their future family plans. “When the baby’s ready it’ll be the right time.”
