END 3RD QUARTER

-- Oregon State starts from its 25. Hankerson runs for 3 yards. Then Gulbranson steps up and finds Walker for a pass play of 19 yards. Gevani McCoy checks in and keeps it for a gain of about 2. That’s the end of the third quarter, with the Broncos up 27-10.

-- Boise State begins at its 25 after a touchback. Jeanty takes it, breaks a tackle and cuts left for a gain of 60 yards, down to the OSU 15-yard line. Jeanty runs for 3. Then Madsen throws to the end zone, but it’s incomplete. On third and 7, another incompletion, and the Broncos will attempt a field goal. The 29-yard kick is good, and Boise State leads it 27-10 with 1:28 to go in the third quarter.

-- Oregon State goes 55 yards in 10 plays, capping the drive with an Everett Hayes 37-yard field goal. That cuts the Boise State lead to 24-10 with 2:50 to go in the third quarter.

-- Jeanty gets bottled up in the backfield to begin the Broncos’ drive. Then a drop, but on third and 11, Madsen connects with Bolt for a 17-yard pass. He throws deep for Camper, but it’s incomplete. Jeanty gets the carry, and he moves the pile ahead for a gain of 9. On third and 1, Madsen dives ahead for the first down, just past midfield. Madsen rolls right and keeps it, picking up 9. The Beavers don’t have much of an answer for the Boise State offense right now. Jeanty weaves his way ahead for a first down. Jeanty runs for 3 yards. A pass to Camper gains 5 more. On third and 2, Jeanty runs through a gap up the middle, shifts right and takes it all the way to the end zone for a touchdown. But there are offsetting penalties, so the touchdown is wiped out and the down will be replayed. Jeanty gets it again, and he picks up the first down. Madsen throws incomplete to the end zone. Jeanty gets stopped for no gain. Madsen throws incomplete, and Boise State will try a field goal. The 44-yard kick is good, and the Broncos extend their lead to 24-7 with 7:34 to play in the third quarter.

-- Oregon State goes three-and-out in its first drive of the second half. The Beavers punt it away to Boise State, which takes over at its 24 after a short return.

Zachary Card returns the ball past the 25, but it’s pushed back to the 12 because of a penalty. This drive is really starting out strong. False start before the first snap. Ball at the OSU 7. Gulbranson throws incomplete, deep sideline pass to Trent Walker. Swing pass to Hankerson, who falls at the 5. Third and 17. Another false start. Third and 19 from the OSU 3. Hankerson runs for 8 to give Josh Green some breathing room on the punt. Broncos take over at the BSU 47.

Broncos return opening kickoff from 5 yards deep to the 19. First play goes to Jeanty for 4. Jeanty then goes right for 16 and a first down to the BSU 39.
