Who made it to the Top 5 on 'American Idol' last night (5/7/23)?
On “American Idol” on Sunday, Alanis Morissette and Ed Sheeran filled in for judges Katy Perry and Lionel Richie.
Morissette also served as a mentor for the eight singers trying to earn America’s vote to make it into the Top 5.
“American Idol” airs at 8 p.m. Sundays on ABC.

Eliminated were Haven Madison, Oliver Steele and Warren Peay.
Perry and Richie were among the guests at the coronation of King Charles III and they performed during the Coronation Concert.

Sunday, May 14, will be the “Magic of Disney” episode as the Top 5 contestants perform songs from Disney. America will vote for the Top 3 performers headed to the finale.
On Monday, May 15, the episode is called “Journey to the Finale.” ABC said, “Featuring never-before-seen footage of this season’s finalists, this special episode takes a deeper look at the journeys from hometown to Hollywood for this season’s contestants.”
The three-hour finale will air on Sunday, May 21.
