Almería vs Real Madrid: Bellingham double, score, goals, highlights ...
Full time: Almería 1-3 Real Madrid
“Goals change games”, as they say.
Up until Jude Bellingham’s second goal on the hour-mark, you could argue that Real Madrid had been second best. They fought back from conceding an early goal to former player Sergio Arribas inside three minutes and looked likely to take control of the game after Bellingham’s first goal of the game.
They did, to a certain extent, but were then faced with a mini-onslaught from the hosts led by Largie Ramazani and Lucas Robertone, who both had a number of efforts on goal and gave Andriy Lunin some real work to do.
Bellingham’s second goal, however, was the game changer, completing knocking the belief out of Almería. From that moment on, there was little doubt about the outcome, with the introductions of Eduardo Camavinga and Luka Modric helping Los Blancos take the sting out of the game and offer even more of a threat in the closing stages.
A third goal from Vinícius with just under 20 minutes left to go turned a fiercely-contested clash into something of a procession as the full-time whistle approached.
