MATCH REPORTThe first half began with AC Milan on the front foot, determined to dictate the game. In the 16th minute, the Rossoneri took the lead with a header from Abraham, perfectly set up by Theo. Roma tried to respond, but AC Milan continued to press and doubled their lead in the 42nd minute, with Abraham again capitalising on another assist from Theo. The first half ended with AC Milan in control and Roma struggling to create dangerous opportunities.

In the second half, Roma made substitutions to try and turn the tide, and in the 54th minute, Dovbyk reduced the deficit with a close-range shot. AC Milan remained composed, playing with discipline and exploiting the spaces left by their opponents. In the 72nd minute, João Félix, who had recently come on, scored the third goal for the Rossoneri, effectively sealing the match. Roma raised their heads in the final moments but the Milan defence did well to control them and the scoreline remained unchanged. A well-deserved win for AC Milan who thus go through to the Coppa Italia semis.
