Social media abuzz while waiting for Aaron Rodgers' latest act with ...

Just one day removed from the Oscars, the predictable drama continued.

It certainly wasn't quiet on the Aaron Rodgers front.

Monday wasn't really about NFL free agency, it was about everything Rodgers on social media....everywhere, and all at once.

Was the Packers quarterback traded to the New York Jets? Is he holding the Packers or the Jets hostage?

Remember, he did say he wouldn't do that.

Was it the end? Various reports had Rodgers being traded to the New York Jets, including one by former ESPN anchor Trey Wingo.

But NFL Network reporter Ian Rappaport immediately refuted that report.

As did former Packers linebacker A. J. Hawk on the Pat McAfee show.

A couple Jets were a bit more cryptic.

Packers cornerback Rasul Douglas is asking where the love for Rodgers is in Green Bay?

And Rodgers appeared to chime in his own special way....

And of course there was the usual Twitter fun.
