CLOVIS, Calif. (KFSN) -- Monday marks 22 years since the attacks in New York, Pennsylvania and the Pentagon that left nearly 3,000 people dead and thousands more injured.
Ceremonies will take place across the country to remember the worst terror attack on American soil.
One of the largest 9/11 memorial ceremonies on the West Coast will take place right here in the Central Valley.
Volunteers have been preparing at the California 9/11 memorial in Clovis since the beginning of the month.
They've been busy setting up flags and rehearsing for Monday morning's ceremony on Never Forget Lane and Pontiac Way.
The volunteers include law enforcement and military veterans who remember one of the darkest days in modern U.S. history.
Action News will be streaming the ceremony online. Be sure to check back via our 24/7 news stream or download the ABC30 app to be notified when we go live.
